What a super day!! A lovely line up of great connemara ponies from all over South Africa! All turned out to perfection! This was the first HOY in many years, in which all 4 stud farms were represented in one class!
The competition this year was strong, with nail biting Championship classes in both the Working Riding and Working Hunter classes.
Our super new young member Thomas Van Rijckesvorsel riding Kilshane Bluebell competing with the formidable Anrie Siebert on Ashgar King Karlos. It truly was an exciting finish to a lovely day! Luckily our charming judge, Greg Goss, was tasked with the final decision. Anrie Siebert and the fantastic Ashgar King Karlos champions of Working Riding, and Thomas and the divine Kilshane Bluebell taking the honours in the Working Hunter class. Both will represent the Connemara Ponies on Sunday in the Championship classes in the Bob Charter arena. These two are well worth watching. click for timetable, results
